HISTORY

The AL Weekly Newsletter was started by Publisher, Brett Young, in the Summer of 1998. We felt there was an overwhelming demand and need for a positive information source other than the forums and newsgroups that had become areas for bashing players, coaches, and fans. (Our sentiments were proved right as we did have an overwhelming demand for people subscribing to the Weekly.)

To that end we developed what we thought was a very informative and well-written weekly email that included such columnists as Jess Nicholas, John Hinds, Jim Morris, Chris Van Steenberg, William Webster, David Ozment, Kelley Brewer, and Brett Young, among others.

The Newsletter was well-received and now has nearly 4000 subscribers from around the world!

We produce a newsletter for TideFans everywhere that we can all be proud of.  While our newsletter may not be sent out every week (particularly during slow periods) it will be sent out periodically. During the football season, we publish the Weekly on Tuesday AND Thursday.  Articles will be similar to what you have seen in the past and like many of the' articles on this site.
