Lawrence Sanders readers?

Any of you all read any novels by the late author Lawrence Sanders? Sanders wrote mystery novels and he had a series of books about a rich private detective, known as Archie McNally, that are my favorites. Sander's died in 1998, however another author has taken up to keep writting the Archie McNally series.

I haven't read any of his works, but I'm game. Can you tell me something about him? Is he the author of the priest mysteries? Seems I did read one of those years ago. But I didn't know he was dead. What was the name of the first McNally book, and I'll hop on over to Amazon and cruise around!

The first McNally book, by Lawrence Sanders, was called McNally's Secret published in 1992. Sanders wrote the following books: The Timothy Files, The First Deadly Sin, The 2nd Deadly Sin, The 7th Commandment. Those are just a few and the majority of them center around a private detective or detectives
