So, we know what we have and who we'll play.
We should be able to handle ULL without burning our top pitchers. They lost to W. Kentucky and Middle Tenn. in the Sun Belt Tournament and lost 2/3 to W. Kentucky in their last series. They really haven't played a hard schedule either. However, if we take them lightly they are capable of beating us.
Tulane - ranked #1, enough said. However, they are beatable. As good as they obviously are, I feel they are over-rated. They lost 2/3 at home vs. Cal State - Fullerton, who may be the best in the nation. They only lost 9 games all year and for that alone, its impressive. However, if we can stun them Saturday night, we have a chance. And we can stun them.
For us to advance, we will have to play almost error free, be aggresive at the plate, smart on the bases and get some breaks. That's alot to ask, especially when we've been lacking in all those areas lately. However, we have played that well at times this year and all we have to do is put it together for one weekend, 3-4 games. If the team wants it bad enough they can do it. We have nothing to lose and can go all out.

I personally think our keys are defense and baserunning. If we can play head's up ball in these two areas, I think our pitching and hitting will speak for themselves. It's the little things that can help you like advancing from first to third on a single and hustling down the line to beat the throw by a half-step. I really think our guys will come to play this weekend.....
