Hard to believe after the way the season started but Bama could finish 2nd overall in the SEC if Tenn loses at Vandy Saturday and Bama beats MSU. That would tie Bama with Tenn at 11-5 in SEC. Bama would get 2nd since it beat Tenn.

The more impressive thing to me is that last year with KW, ES, RS, JD and CD, we finished conference play at 12-4......to be only one game removed from that minus KW, ES and CD, is phenomenal........and HATS OFF to CMG

The slump that UT has been in lately, it could very well happen...Let's hope we play the game we are capable of playing at the Hump. I am still thinking that MISStake might beat us, but maybe we'll pull it out.

finally got the "book" on UT. In fact, we actually wrote it. :biggrin2: Also, watching the the last couple of times, it looks to me like there's tension on their team. Lofton is getting looked off, and that's hurting them big time...

I noticed something strange in their pregame warmup versus Bama. Alabama finished the warmup/shootaround several minutes before UT did. Once Bama left the court, Lofton walked down to that end to shoot by himself. Another UT player began to walk over while Lofton was shooting, but Lofton waved him away. I've seen a lot of talented SEC shooters warmup. I don't remember many removing themselves from the rest of their team.

Very interesting...

after that sort of backbiting gets started, it doesn't matter who's primarily at fault, the real victim is team unity...
