Um.. on his radar? Ha, I'd say being one of the final 5 schools among all he had to choose from, and taking his first official visit to Alabama means a little more than just "on his radar"The only thing is that it would have been nice to have taken his visit to Bama after the others.Talk around town is that Bama is on his radar and we are at least a solid #2 on his list to Oklahoma.
Believe Brian Butler does not have to lie, hide the truth, or mislead anyone to get teams to be interested in Arthur Brown. If he says that Arthur has no favorite, then I believe he means it. Brown is not announcing a favorite, so he is considering all of his favorites and his first official visit was to Alabama. Both Butler and Brown have very nice things to say about Alabama and their visits. He's been saying that about every school since his list came out. He's building more interest in Brown by saying this.
Yes opposing teams backfield!!:biggrin2:Thanks for the link. Saw nothing discouraging at all, in that article. We need this young man. Imagine he, & McClain in the same backfield..........! :drool5:DT_Aliboronz_15:
Arthur Brown, Scout.com five-star linebacker and No.1 overall prospect in the country, released a statement about his official visit to Alabama. Brown was in Tuscaloosa for the Alabama-Georgia game.
“The fans are crazy about football and just being there you can tell how much they care about the football program and the players,” Arthur Brown said from Wichita-East, Kansas. “It [Bryant-Denny Stadium] somewhat resembles an NFL type stadium.”
My goal now is to put the recruiting in the family's hands," he said.
Which might be an odd choice of words, considering how involved he is with the Browns' recruitment. That, he explains, is at the family's request. Since the brothers don't have a cell phone -- another oddity since Butler is a T-Mobile manager -- and the parents don't have any interest in the recruiting world, Butler is the filter.
College coaches check in with him.
He receives recruiting mail addressed to the Browns.
