What?
What part of that game was "home cookin?" You may be right in the fact that we may have lost it if we traveled, but it is not due to our "home cookin." 24,000 screaming orange fans at the Pat Summit dome would have had a say in pumping their team's intensity level up. We just played one heck of a first half and then hung on to win. Our FG% was up around 75%. How is that "home cookin?" Our crowd helped our team tremendously. That, however, is a home court advantage, not "home cooking." Also, for whoever said we were terrible on the road. Isn't the old saying, win at home and play .500 on the road and you win championships. Our last SEC title was just that 12-4. Won our 8 at home, and played 4-4 on the road. So let's examine how terrible we are this year.
@LSU- L had a chance to win up until the last few minutes.
@Auburn- W wait how did that happen?
@Ole Miss- W oh, but we lost this one at home....(the same day Chuck's knee died)
@Ark- L well, we all saw that one.
@MSU- Yet to be determine
@UGA- L didn't show up
@USC- L didn't show up
@UK- W at Rupp?
So, we are 3-4 on the road. We beat MSU, we are 4-4 on the road. What is the problem? The only games we never really had a chance in were UGA and USC. How is that a "terrible road team." If we beat UF and AU at home then we end 11-5 in conference. That is only one off the pace of our SEC title....dang we are one terrible team.
