Tebow and the gators won round 1, well be seeing them again come december. If the tide is going to reach the next level, we have to beat teams like florida with players like tebow. Cns will want another chance at florida with him! Maybe harvin will leave, although it didnt matter much at the seccg.

so it official? dang... actually, it's a good thing! it really will be fun seeing him play one last year, and if we beat them, it'll be that "we're back" box we can preach off of! :):):)

Good. I wanted him back. I want to see a bigger, faster, smarter, and meaner Bama defense plant his butt into Atlanta's carpet (provided we get there, ourselves) next December.

For a guy who can turn water into Gatorade, he sure is having a tough time convincing Mel Kiper Jr that he can play QB on Sundays.

Or maybe he just can't pass up one more year of that sweet, sweet Gainesville jorts weather.

I'm surprised he's returning. What's the point? He's apparently seeking a do-over for things he's already won (Heisman & NC). The best he can do is equal his prior achievements.

He's obviously a good kid and I wish him well... though not necessarily on the football field... :)

From Leviticus 17:1 -

"And the Canaanites pleaded with Timothy to lead them once again to victory. And Timothy said, 'Go unto the mountain and slay three goats, and I will cirmcumcise the children of your village.' Timothy, seeing what the Canaanites had done, agreed to live among them for another year."

Never a doubt in my mind. Timmy has grown to love the pub and hero worship too much to forego another year of being the biggest of the BMOC. Heck, who among us would trade another year with the Gators with Gainsville, much of the state of Florida and a lot of the nation at our feet for a clipboard in the NFL?

Maybe he thinks that there are more important things in his life than just football. Maybe he wants to complete his education at UF (he did not redshirt) and enjoy his senior year.

My college years were the best time of my life. I can relate to his apparent desire to live them to the fullest. My daughter is graduating this spring in three years from Emory with a 3.95 GPA. I am proud of her but do not really fathom why she wants to finish her undergrad in only three years.

That is a good way to put it. As much as I would like to see him go pro, I know he is a good man of faith. It is truly about winning to him and getting his education. He will play in the NFL and make his money which I don't think is that important to him.

It's obviously good news for the gators - not such good news for the rest of the SEC. However, as others have said (more or less) to be 'the man', you have to beat 'the man'.

It must be quite a shock to win the Heisman your sophomore season, the national title your junior season, and here the NFL Board say..."You'll probably go on day two, possibly as a tight end".

If Tebow was "all that and a bucket of chicken" to the NFL scouts he'd be gone.

John Parker is probably considered by pro scouts to be a better Quarterback prospect, and he's not high on their board.

Different game completely.

Does he already have his degree? That might be why he is staying or getting his Masters.
