There are still threads on the ESPN affiliate auburnundercover by a goob named Kirk Newell that name certain lawyers and doctors, by name from Gadsden. They are truly pitiful.

After a couple of 4-8, 3-9 or 5-7 seasons they will be too embarrassed to show their faces on any message board.

EDIT
My bad I keep forgetting Auburn has no shame.

They have no shame, true. But, you know as well as I do that after last yrs 5-7 season, they are now more unbearable than they ever where when they were 9-3, 10-2, and whipping our a.. every year. When their team is in the dumps, they have to find a scapegoat. They will be even worse in the future when Chiz shows what kind of HC he really is.;)

That's something I noticed on the aunation site as well. Their mods behave like teenagers. Truly sad.

I saw that too. Very sad indeed. Obviously, this guy got his undies in a wad when Coach Saban called out the recruiting sites in that article over the weekend. At least that's the only explanation I can think of. You gotta love it...one statement by Coach Saban makes the whole Barn nation go beserk. :)

On a similiar Note, do you all remember when CNS was hired that alot of us on this board made statements that within 2 - 3 years, the barner nation would become desperate after realizing that everything they had earlier this decade is slipping away? I think most of us predicted this would happen, but I'm not sure most predicted it would happen this quickly and that the fall out from the barners would be so drastic.

To be honest, I never thought the impact of hiring one man would undo an entire fanbase, coaching staff and football program in only a few (+/-18) months. The absolute meltdown by the entire Aub family about 8 months ago was epic. When they realized that the hammer had been dropped and their beloved Tubs was a goner and then they proceeded to hire a failure, well it was pure pleasure to any rival fanbase just to watch them. Now to see them wailing and knashing their teeth after the NCAA sanctions were handed down, they are truly in agony. I LOVE IT!:biggrin2:

Barnies will forever be the gnat in Alabama's you know what.

It's sad because unlike Florida State is to Florida, Georgia Tech is to Georgia, etc, no fanbase obsesses over the other team the way of which Aubarn does.

If you take a trip down to that pathetic little rejected, backwoods college town, half the material there is Aubarn and the other half is anti-Alabama, much like it is on Aubarn message boards.

They frequently blast us to the moon for "living in the past" and "evolving around tradition, legacy, and history" yet they're too moronic to realize it pales in comparison to evolving around an entirely different team.

They're pitiful beyond belief. They act as if they grew up WORSHIPING Alabama, yet was denied acceptance into UA and was forced to attend four years in that hellhole, hence the reason they take every stab they can at us. I guess I can't hold it against them though because if I was forced to attend school there, I'd probably lose my mind too.

As much as it irks me to say it, Auburn is actually a very good institution overall. My wife is getting her Master's degree from AU, and although there is not as much to do there as there is in some college towns like Tuscaloosa, it is a very nice campus.

Auburn's biggest problem, at least in regards to football, is their fan's huge inferiority complex. The Aubies are very worried and defensive about losing their status as a football power in this State. Let's be honest, for about 4 or 5 years in this decade, Auburn was definitely in a better situation than Alabama. What Coach Saban has been able to do in such a short amount of time has them in a state of panic and denial. Had they been able to lure a big time coach to compete with CNS this past season, then I don't think we would be seeing the same degree of desperation from the barner faithful. The Chizik hire was just the push they needed to send them completely over the edge. They are attempting to climb back up the cliff (blind support of Chizik), but when they get destroyed this season by most of their worthy opponents they may just slip off for good.

We all have different experiences, but to me, UCLA fans act the same towards USC as Auburn fans towards us. In some cases, Auburn fans are worse simply because of time - the 'Ruins have been getting dominated by USC longer (in recent times) than Auburn has.

The only Auburn fans I've met that are classy and actually friendly are my aunt, and one of my friend's family. Other than that, I just have no respect for any Auburn fan.

I thank God for making me an Alabama fan.

I know several classy Auburn folks and consider 4-5 of them very good friends. However, I have yet to meet even one that does not have a bigtime inferiority complex about the University of Alabama.

They know deep down that if we have Nick Saban and they have a 5-19 coach named Gene Chiznik (hard to believe but that's reality - seems like a worst-case scenario for the Barners) that they're pretty much screwed and they don't have much hope. And it eats at them...

I lurked on auburnundercover couple days ago...and its as bad as the ITAT board. They are absolutely obsessed with BAMA, trying to get their troops all excited about their Bama/Gadsden rumors (again) and putting some peoples names on there. Honestly, that site is begging for a lawsuit over there. They are taking it way too far, imo just like ITAT. In one thread, a Bama fan asked them to provide a legit link or some proof as to what some of them were saying, and the barner guy posted a link to a different msg board with the same stupid rumor, lol (probably his own post). They are so wrapped up in their on stupidity they don't realize how embarrasing it is for them. Other rival fans are even noticing, because these idiot barners are going to all their boards and planting these rumors too.

Re: Let's get something straight about "Gadsden..." (read edit to opening post)

The day I meet a classy Aubarn fan will be the day I marry Amy Adams. Yes they can be decent human beings outside of football, but when it comes down to talking Alabama and Aubarn, it nearly leads to a fight simply because they can't be rational or civil. I'll do a good deed by complimenting Chizik on doing a better job recruiting than Tuberville, and they'll respond with how he's got Saban's number and how Saban is a cheater (just an example). Then one thing leads to another.

Being raised in the Aubarn area, the only decent Aubarn students I met were the ones who didn't give a crap about football. In fact I know SEVERAL Aubarn students who cheered for Alabama, just because they hated the way their fans act during football season, especially toward us.

People make a big deal about UT fans, but I've never met a Tennessee fan I didn't like and trust me when I say I've met a lot of UT fans as well. I know some can be a pain on message boards, but that comes with the territory. Aubarn on the other hand, their fans are pathetically pitiful. Period.

I have a good friend that is a barn fan, and he's really great guy...we've always been able to talk about both teams with some good natured ribbing involved without either getting mad. I've come to the conclusion he's one of the few nice barners, and not in the majority lunatic fringe barners.;)

I live in Auburn and I hate their school more each day. I've been thinking of making a sign, going to toomers corner, and taking photos with me in my bama garb...i just need to figure out what it will say.

I want the sign to incorporate 36-0, us beating them next year, and disgust for them...any suggestions on the sign?

Again Ive said it before and Ill say it again. Nobodys holding a gun
to their heads to be a sheep humper. If they want to be a winner the choice is simple: be an Alabama fan.

Thats funny! Maybe my memory doesnt serve me correctly but supposedly there was this little reported incident down at Booger Corral where players as well as other students where given false test grades and free passing grades for doing grade school book reports and plagiarized copied ones at that. Sacs committee probably owns real estate by some loophole law considering the amount of time spent on the farm penalizing the so called institution. :rolleye2: If thats a very good institution then Id just love to know what a fine one is. That fark photo from their graduation with the "so easy a cave man could do it" from last year is so accurate its scary as well as hilarious but then afterwards becomes as sad as their schizoid fanbase'
when you realize just how perfect the match is.

Not only can the barners handle the fact that Bama has surpassed them to take back the ownership of the state of football in Ala and soon the SEC/nation but we have also now put their academic reputation to shame plus we now have a bigger student body and national fanbase spread around the world, more athletic fans from all sports,a better campus,a better college town, not just a better coach and staff but the THE BEST,the biggest campus facilities and the BEST as well as more media coverage and recognition, better recruiting and smarter fans in general.

Seriously in most peoples opinions the boogs dont really have anything to offer anyone or anything much less not having a leg to stand on. When you do a quick survey of those facts in your head and the direct opposite directions that our football program and University is heading vs where their team and high school is going its really not a hard decision on who you should pull for if you live in this state. That is if youre a normal, public abiding citizen thats sane and functional as a human being and happen to like to sports.
