The min pins do look a lot like a dobie, but did you know that they aren't related? The name is misleading. Those little ones are a bit too yappy for me.I've always been a Strooch guy. (cross between a stray & a pooch...:biggrin2That's what we've had & what we have now. Ours looks sort of like a lab puppy, except that he's about 8 years old.
However, exiled, jr. bought a mini pinscher last year and that dog is AWESOME! So, mrs. exiled & I are now min-pin fans as well. jr.'s pooch looks like a doberman that got caught in the "honey, I shrunk the kids" ray. (not all min-pins look like dobermans from what I see/hear/read) Plus, Beau has a great, sassy personality combined w/ a whole lot of cuddly-ness. He & I became buddies last year when I was in the midst of all the cancer surgeries & trtmts & thus was lying around the house a lot. Beau helped...Regrettably, he views our dog Sam as a large moving chew toy; Sam is not entirely thrilled with this view...
