We are officially winning in spite of our offense. We have the two best backs on football, but struggle to get 100 yards. Athletes everywhere, but cannot complete a pass over 15 yards. We have no excuse.I'm so disappointed I can't stand it.

Our two backs have 20 carries for 79 yards . That's not terrible considering we have no rhythm on offense. Yeah it's pedestrian, but we're not really trying to establish a run game. All I've heard the last two weeks was that we were going to try to establish a running game early and often, and I just haven't seen it.

I said it earlier this week - if we don't cover the spread (@21, unlikely we will) it doesn't bode well for us as the season wears on us. The reality is we were favored by 21 over OM because they suck, and quite frankly, we're not exposing them.

I hoped we would come out fired up and ready, but the team just looks young, mentally not ready yet.
