If it's not to much trouble could you explain to a newcomer who Reggie and Rodney is? Also, when you say Auburn has gotten "creative" do you mean with their recruiting or with spreading rumors about Cyrus committing?

Reggie is "Bama K" who posts here and on TiderInsider.com, Rodney is Rodney Orr the owner of TiderInsider.com..

13-16 has it right, and I meant I can't talk about it... :D

Thats a point I was telling someone. CK's parents didn't make the trip with him. CK also left the visit early. IMO I think it is Bama all the way. I know he has been the least recruit I have been worried about.

I have to agree. The only thing that makes it a major loss is that he's such a big time talent that doesn't come around too often, and we already had his older brother which gives us an advantage.

It is one of the positions that we're trying to boost our talent level at...

Cyrus would upgrade our reserves, and give us a solid lineman with 3-4 years of eligibility...

The team is deep most places, but I do think that O and D lines were two of our biggest concerns this year...

I do see a negative of the parents not going on the trip... Cyrus might have gotten pre$$ured by the Barners.

The Kouandjio family seem to be very solid citizens...offering of something illegal would , in my opinion, work in our favor...

I do not see this family, being swayed in that manner...
they want to do whats right for their kids, and have been very straighforward throughout the recruiting process.

And, I think both Arie and Cyrus have demonstrated their maturity as well...
Cyrus has not tried to play the media, but has looked at his optins as anyone should do. I do believe that he would fit well at bama, and in the long run, it would be great for the Kouandjio family if they were at the same school. Saban has already told them they would not compete against each other for a line position...so thats not an issue either...

Hopefully, Cyrus comes to the capstone, and we can cheer for two great Kouandjio's for the next few years...

Like I said two weeks ago when I posted about Clowney and Callaway, I don't post much. I do post when I hear stuff from someone who is close to the Alabama program. Take it for what it is worth, it doesn't look like CK will end up in crimson. The source stated that he was actually third on the board for OT. I was astonished! He may still end up with the Tide but I am not getting my hopes up. I do know the two in front of him have committed elsewhere, so he could committ to us.

Third? Some have him as high as the top recruit overall, but we have him third for OT? I know Saban really wanted Shell, but I don't see him being higher than Cyrus. I have no idea who to even guess for the second. Seriously.

Cyrus Kouandjio is a Class Act, and he would represent Bama very well. Plus, I could see him starting his True freshman season with the potential he's shown so far in his career. Would be real cool to have Brothers playing on the OL together for Bama the next 3 seasons.

Hope Cyrus Rolls with the Tide.........

:BigA: ROLL TIDE :BigA:
