You would think that the SEC Commissioner would have handled this situation a little better than he did. How is this not handled discretely. How is this allowed to become SEC NSD news? I mean really, doesn't the SECC have more pressing matters to attend to? I say a hoard of stone throwing Tide fans should storm the SEC offices and demand that he go, just go, leave now.

SEC spokesman Charles Bloom says league Commissioner Mike Slive "felt it was inappropriate" and called Crimson Tide athletic director Mal Moore Thursday morning. Bloom says an SEC school called the commissioner, but wouldn't identify the university.

Alabama spokesman Doug Walker says athletic department officials have no comment.

Web photos on what Alabama calls its "Fax Cam" showed an unidentified female student in a short, slitted skirt standing next to the fax machine and a board where names of each confirmed signee were posted as they arrived.

The student is a Crimson Cabaret dancer who works in the football offices and was wearing her uniform. The dance team performed at halftime of the men's basketball game Wednesday night, which tipped off some seven hours after the signing day Web cam went offline.

I think we all know which school it is. CNS and UGA CMR both alluded to a competing SEC school that was using negative recruiting tactics in this class on NSD. Even though neither named the school, there is not doubt in my mind that they were both talking about the barn.

There was more than one ugly male shot from that angle. That's what Slive should have complained about.

The barn and negative recruiting in the same sentence? Nah.. They would never do that

Slive seems to be poking at a crowd of hungry wolves (other SEC schools) while making excuses for the barn on everything. WHat I mean is maybe the other 11 need to show solidarity and issue a vote of no confidence. Maybe they already have. 11 SEC schools + 1 TAMU = the new Southern Football Conference. AU can go join the Sun Belt.

Sounds like a solid idea to me but Its rumored that South Alabama is going to that conference so they might not want to tangle with them!
