He was in Lexington last weekend, no? Am I wrong in thinking it's a bad thing that he says his mind is made up just a couple days later? Any insiders know anything? Tell me I'm wrong, please!

He was in Lexington. It could be good or bad. There are things that point both ways.

Not saying I know anything or that he's going to Kentucky, but you'd have to be wearing some pretty thick Crimson glasses to think him visiting Kentucky last weekend "could be a good thing."

It doesn't look good for Bama that he made up his mind after a trip to Lexington and before taking the rest of his visits. Calipari is a master salesman.

Agreed, and honestly I couldn't blame him. The mystique of playing at UK is like playing at UA in football. Even if I grew up in the state, I'd have a hard time turning that offer down.

Last I heard he didn't have a commitable offer from UK. They had 2 recruits that were similar to him already commited and he was the odd man out. I could be wrong, but that was the impression I had.

Trevor had 44 today at wallace state in the regional semi's against east lawrence and Butler won by 44

I don't think he makes or break our class, but I would LOVE to get him. Rodney Copper went for 29 points and 8 rebounds for Russell Co. He's also averaging around 31 points per game.

Aren't Lacey and Cooper #1 and #2 in the state in scoring?

I've seen Lacey and Randolph play. IMO, they are very different players. Randolph is the purer shooter from a technical point of view, while Lacey is better at creating his shot off of drives. He's also much more aggressive and strong.

I have watched Cooper on video and he looks like a great shooter.

On the recruiting page, there is a Reggie Ragland thread. Reggie supposedly posted on facebook that one of his friends is going to Bama then took it down. I wonder if that means Trevor is Bama bound.

Here is a link from a Kentucky website. How can the Cullman Times report this knowing NSD isn't until April. Unreal.

If you've ever read the Cullman Times, the only things it "scoops" might be local news. Maybe. Otherwise, the sports stories are sometimes days behind, except for the local high schools.

Plus looks like that link has edited the story to say that he has NOT committed to UK. Go figure. Also, there is no such story on Cullman Times online, that I could find anyway.

If you look at UK, they have a great class coming in already with Gilchrist and others. Combine that with the fact that Lamb and Knight are probably staying in school, as they are nowhere near the talent level of Bledsoe and Wall. That makes for a crowded backcourt. Bama's top 2 SG's Hillman and Davis are seniors and Lacey could possibly start from day one in T-town. If he comes, we could have a very scary team next year as our depth, which has hindered us in the past, would be a huge upside. Releford, Lacey, Mitchell, Green, and Gueye up front. Second unit of Steele, Randolph, Hankerson, Jacobs and Carter. You still have Eblen and Cooper (who could get red shirted) with Engstrom and Kendall Durant, should he return from injury. That's a pretty deep team
