Wouldn't surprise me a bit. Why is that the media is biased against BAMA? I guess because we've won so many championships.

They're still a very good team and program. They had 2 tough games scheduled and lost one, which has been my point all along. Play in a good conference against 3-4 good teams and THEN tell me about how much you deserve to play in the BCSCG.

Also, Danielson, Herbstreit and Mussberger are probably sick over this.......again.

They'll drop out of the top 10 in my opinion. They're done as far as any BCS NC talk is concerned. Not that they would have jumped a one loss Bama anyway.
So, keep your fingers crossed that Stanford gets their BCS dreams quacked and Okie State are swooners before the Sooners.
At that point, we would be at the top of the list for one loss teams.

I'm glad BS lost because I'm weary of all the hype. I will give credit where it's due because it's the most interesting game I've seen today.

After everything that happened within the last 2:30 minutes:

- Boise fumbling the icing drive away
- TCU scoring a TD (ironically in the opposite way that we got hosed last week)
- TCU going for two (massive onions on Patterson)
- That disgusting PI call to bail Boise out
- Karma biting them in the butt and for the 2nd year in a row their kicker costing them....

Here's my logical and measured reaction:

It is HIGH TIME that the media types in this country who become obssessed with this team every single year simply be told to "shut up" and go sit in the corner - and never again bring this up. Many years ago Notre Dame got ranked in the top ten nearly every year on the basis of their reputation. But those days are long gone. Might I add that I don't only hold this opinion on Boise - the OU Sooners need to start the year about number 12 themselves. Has any team choked in more big game situations in the last 10 years than the OU Sooners?

The fact remains that Boise State does not play a major league schedule, has no business beginning the year in the top five, and every single media person who even tries to argue their case needs to turn in his credentials and go find another line of work (looking right at you Gary Daniel-dumb and Kirk Herb-creep). It is LONG past time to stop overrating this team and make them EARN it from the ground up.

Agreed - they should never have made it this high in the polls this year. Like Houston, they were undefeated - but they were beating air.

Just thought about something.

Will that one spot now lost in the BCS rankings between Bama, a undefeated Boise St. team, and another one loss teams hurt us in the end? That two spot buffer is gone now with Boise St. losing today. We'll see how the cards fall soon enough, I suppose. Wish Bama had a stronger ending schedule.

Boise loss is terrific! Really need Oregon to knock off Stanford tonight. I truly believe Oklahoma will beat OSU to end the year. Then it's just a voter choice between Bama and OU. I know Bama is the better team, but hard to deny a one-loss Big 12 champ that knocks off the #2 team the last week of the season. Fingers crossed!
