didn't we play ole miss in this late time slot a year or two back? i seem to remember falling asleep on the couch watching the game in the early 4th quarter because it was so lopsided.

With it being this late, will things still be open after the game in ttown? This will be a night without the kids, so I was hoping to get a late night eat and drink somewhere down there.


We have always gone to early games, I think an early evening game was the latest we have been to.


Btw, I live about 35-40 mins from Tuscaloosa, but never go down there unless we go to a game (4 times). So I am not familiar with places to eat and such.

I know this is 'beating a dead horse,' but I'm going to do it anyway. I'm extremely tired of night home games. For those of us who tailgate, as well as those who drive in, it makes for a very long day.
It is frustrating when we play 'big' games away they get the 2:30 slot and when are home we get the night slot!!!!

While I can appreciate the TV money, after three years of this, it gets very old.

Yep 2010 it was the same time slot. We played pretty sloppy except for TR.

was going back and forth on which was first game i would fly down to this year...ole miss or fau. sure glad i chose FAU as that 6:45am return flight on Sunday would be a rough one with an 8:15 kick

heading to bham thursday...looking forward to some J Clyde's and Dyrons low country!

btw, not a bad slate that day at all. UGA/UcheaT is a good one...Ark/aTm always a tight one...UCF at home hosting missouri is upset alert time

we got home at 2:30 am two years ago.
the cheapest hotel room available that weekend is 300 bucks and a two (2) night minimum.

Driving home after a game this late is very dangerous for the fans. I would think the odds of having a serious accident would be greatly increased. It's tough driving at 4:00 AM after a long day in Tuscaloosa. Besides their are way too many people driving during the late night hours on a normal weekend that have have had a few too many.

I guess this is the only time that a kickoff this late won't bother me. Seafood Festival in Pensacola this Saturday will help to kill the day nice and proper. Hope the team will be focused with the late kickoff.

When they did this two years ago it was one of the quietest games I had ever been too. There were people half asleep all around me and not just drunks.

yea, I'm getting too old for this. Probably won't be home until after 5 a.m. I will be there and stay til the end though.
