I have to say John L. Smith would be a great fit. If you know Alabama High School football, there is a team in Morgan County Brewer. Their coaching staff would would fit well.

You guys are thinking small, well except for foolmer and to a lesser degree weis. They need to make a splash ... Lane Kiffen! There's always the option of Bill Curry moving from Ga State to the plains they need someone with SEC experience!

On a serious note I have a feeling Bobby Petrino is on the short list. Wouldn't be surprised by much of anything. I'd say Chizik is 50:50 if they finish the season at say 3-9. If he's canned what would a serious list look like?
