Why would the defense release toxicology reports now if he wasn't going to be charged? I wonder what they call miniscule. It would be interesting to see how involved their drug testing really was.

That's the FSU side of things which seems to be what the DA believes happened.

That would mean the girl is crazy and should be prosecuted if there's enough evidence. Claiming rape like that? She'd be crazier than an outhouse rat.

That is exactly what the yardbarker article detailed, but we have not heard that from anyone/anywhere else. If she had this stuff on her FaceBook page, as they allege, then this would be all over the place. It just doesn't add up.

We have two sides. Mostly what has been put out there is from her attorney. We have some info from Jameis' side but not nearly as much. Seem as though he side is trying to win the case through the public by putting out what they want you to believe. Truth is, we don't know where the truth lies. What we do know is that the TPD is tainted by mishandling this case.

I know one the the attorney's for the chancellors office here in Tuscaloosa. According to him, it is required of the University to conduct an independent investigation in this type of case. If there is reasonable evidence the school itself will turn it over to the Judicial council which will suspend or expel the student. FSU is skating on thin ice if there is any validity to these allegations whatsoever even if he is not charged in the court system. The last thing any University should want on their campus is a sexual predator , star QB or not.

These smear tactics are shameful. I know the defense must present a vigorous defense, but shouldn't we save it for the courtroom and not leak stories intended to paint the victim as a slut to the press. I suspect from what I see that most of these stories floating around are not true and they were invented to protect their famous QB.

It is interesting that the leak about toxicology report didn't say there were no drugs found. It simply said the date rape drug wasn't found. I assume they were referring to Rohypnol. However, there are many so-called "club drugs" or "date rape drugs" out there. They all can affect one's memory.

Right - no news there. He could have made every word up because there is nothing specific in the report. Just that he is not going to be charged.

Because it is not about justice, it's about the entertainment value. If this was an Auburn player, they'd be rolling the wires right now. You can get away with anything in Florida as long as you make a spectacle out of it, just ask Casey Anthony.
