Thank you for bringing that up! He completely sat on him and nothing was called so no the corn dogs can't say a thing about the refs at all...and that time that their offensive lineman was allowed ride Tim Williams like a horse?

They do it almost on every pass play against Bama. They do it in the pros. Unless it is egregious it NEVER gets called. On that 41 yarder it looked like he pushed off to get some space to make the catch.
It's between the ears too because he's got the leg and then some. The one he missed was a perfect snap, hold, and blocking. Two great football teams and we had one or two more big plays than they did. I truly hope that LSU hires Orgeron. He is the perfect fit for that program, and his players have bought into him, no matter where he's been.
We are very fortunate to win tonight. Adam Griffith may cost us the national title because he's the worst kicker in the SEC.
Sorry.....that's the way it is and he's had four years to prove me wrong. He can't seem to do it..
9 minute drives in the 4th quarter are dominating in CNS's assessment. That said I hear what you're saying."Domination" is a first round knock out. We had to play four quarters against a very talented and determined football team. Why it's so hard to give them credit, I have no idea...soooo.. I'll concede to all you brilliant analysts. We kicked their butts all over the football field and destroyed them 10-0.
Have a good night.
Our offense seemingly should have enough in the tank for MSU. And plenty of motivation too.One more thought:
Hate that we allowed this game to go into the 4th without being comfortably ahead. Got a suddenly cocky Miss St team at 11 am Saturday. Gotta re-boot and focus. Can't come out flat next week.
yeah curious why that thread was closed?Nobody got the final score exactly right, but Coast Ghost was probably the closest - predicted a 7-6 Alabama win with all the scoring in the fourth quarter.
Good call dude!!!!
Coast Ghost prediction:
I have been wrong all year so I am calling a close one ..
7-6 Bama - all scoring in the 4th Q
I know that guy, he's my friend tooI used to get very animated during football games and, despite believing in the team I would stress out about the win. These days I never worry about winning. It just happens one way or another.
Recently though I've got a friend who just heckles me with inane texts during the game about how whoever we are playing is going to win. Last game it was all about the refs being in Bama's back pocket. I try to ignore it but man does he know my buttons lol. I think that frustration may bleed through into my posts on here a little during the game. I hope not though.

Adam was a big reason Alabama won a title last year and will be again this year. Terrible way to slam one of our own.Two great football teams and we had one or two more big plays than they did. Cecil Hurts tweet (not reposted, saw it on fb):The term "domination" doesn't get thrown around much in a game that was scoreless for three quarters and within one possession until the end. But that one score might as well have been five. We haven't seen a defensive performance like this since New Orleans. Did LSU even throw at Tony Brown?
One growing concern: We must recover some semblance of a mid- and downfield passing game or the Auburn game will be more difficult than it needs to be, not to mention the playoffs. Elting was brave but not very good. Watson, Jackson, Barrett et al will score some points, even against us.
As is normally the case after we play LSU, you can count on a hangover next week. Hopefully, it doesn't last all game. One more thought:

Payne is just otherworldly. There was one screen play where it appeared he was held so bad he got spun around. After watching the replay, it turns out he was spinning around on his own because he sniffed out the screen. You simply shouldn't be allowed to move like that and be that big. Danielson even noted how well we sniffed it out and everyone turned around looking for the screen. All good points, but #8 is absolute truth. Good GRIEF!
Looks good. I thought it looked like 92 for a moment. For those of you who were not around in the 60's, this is what Bama football looked like then.
You get it. I was relaxed all good. L6U had nothing going on offense because of the defense. Offense left A LOT of money on the table. Still, we won.Bama outgained them 323-125 with a third of LSU's O on one closely covered pass. They had 1 first down for the second half and 6 for the game. Their deepest penetration without 2 Bama TOs was the Bama 45. They were in Bama's territory once in the 2nd half due to a fumble and ended on their side of the 50. LSU should have never been in the game. Their offense was completely throttled. Their D played well, but even then gave up 323 yards and what typically would/should have been 17-20 points. IMO, a better characterization would be that LSU was VERY fortunate to even be in the game.
Not so fast my friend.Yeah, I see this being one of those 21-10 type wins. MSU benefits from playing us after LSU almost every year.
