If Florida chooses to go after an unproven coach instead of Mullen, they're pretty stupid. I'm not saying he's the best candidate there is, but I'd take him over any hot shot coordinator or cupcake conference coach.
Could he and Strickland work together? The rumor is their relationship is tenuous to say the least. I would go after Matt Campbell too. He’s proven he can win at two bottom dwellers.

The LSU and MSU games has tought more about this Alabama team than any game this year. The last two games may have been two highly competitive yet nerve-wrecking games but these games have shown me what kind of fortitude and gumption this team has. I am now highly confident that this team will be ready to "butt heads" with Auburn in two weeks.

Don't care about any stats, don't want to see any. We won with HEART, end of discussion (that and Jalen Hurts, Calvin Ridley, Josh Jacobs, Devonta Smith, etc... LOL).

I think we'll be all right.

Hey we played a tough team on the road and won, Notre Dame exposed again, now that is a ugly game. Champions find a way to win one or two of these type games a year. 10-0 by playoff time this score will not be remembered as much as the win will be. Just suck it up, learn from it and take it out on the next few teams we play. We still scored 31 points so offense is still getting it done. I can bet this team will work hard the next week or 2 to fix the mistakes. ROLL TIDE and lets just keep racking up wins, any way we have to.

I've heard the same, but it would be a pretty bad move to overlook what might be your best candidate because you can't sort things out. We'll see though.

Anyone have the latest updates on our injured LB's...chances of returning?
I remember not too long before Alabama lost two more, there was a possibility of the first two who got injured to return at some point. I don't remember where I saw that and in either case it's speculative.

Man. I can only imagine the negative nellies in the game thread. I chose to stay out of it plus I had company.

Glad to get the win. Guys played hard. Hurts is a tough dude.

We have to figure something out on defense the next two weeks. There's one particular player that had a horrible game, but I won't get on him today.

At least we had no injuries.

RTR.

Tuesday is going to be something like this:

1) ALABAMA
2) Oklahoma
3) Clemson
4) Miami

5) Wisc
6) AU
7) UGA
8) tOSU

Clemson and Miami will face off in the ACCCG
Wisc is going to get beat in the BIG10CG
Oklahoma will face another tough BIG12CG

Things are still wide open and we will be in GREAT shape being #1. We just gotta hang in there and hopefully get a couple guys back and others healed up.

Just glad PI isn’t a spot foul.

We owned the fourth quarter. Held the ball for 9:35 compared to just 11:29 the first three. Led in first downs 12-3 and outgained them 192-34. Most importantly, outscored them 14-3.

Everyone gets knocked down now and then, it is what you do when you get up that seperates the losers from the winners. We took some hits but got up and played on. Proud that the team never gave up and fought hard for the win. Good to know we can come back and close a game out when we have to. That being said lets win by 3-4 TDs from now on, I am to old for these types of games:eek:
