we have had plenty of those. I believe Saban was lucky with some the nationalchampionship wins when bounce went our way. His luck has run out. Bama has been extremely unlucky recently.

I honestly never thought Alabama was getting in after the loss to LSU, and this saves me a week of worrying over a bunch of games that have to go Alabama's way.

Having said that, I'd like to blame the refs. It shouldn't have been close enough for the refs to matter.

This was not a well coached Alabama team. This was not a disciplined Alabama team. It just didn't look like a Saban Alabama team, it looked a lot more like Oklahoma, or Oregon. Just another high powered offense trying to win shootouts.

The upside is I got a decent work out in. Decided I'd do pushups every time Bama scored, situps every time auburn scored (running total - each time they score I do the number of reps of that teams total points).

Ended up doing 168 pushups and 240 situps.

That's the only positive I can take away from this one.

Unless I hear that Golding and Banks are walking home.

Absolutely embarrassing...absolutely 100% embarrassing.

Refs werent any better, they should be embarrassed as well. Never should have had that FG to end the half.

But at least that defense wont have to face Clemson or Ohio State thankfully.
