Scott Cochran is Leaving for Georgia

As I reflect on this I think it is good for all concerned. CSC is a good motivator, but is he the best S & C person? If you look at our stats at the NFL combine, other than our "super athletes" like Julio, we do not produce the top strength persons. Also with the rash of injuries the last few years, it could be that a change in "how" we train is as needed as anything. I would not be surprised if CNS encouraged him to look elsewhere...I really don't see how being a ST coach is a step up for him...unless he just wanted it.

While im grateful to coach yeah for what he has done. Saban didn't fight for him to stay and a change was needed.
Not doubting your insight. If you are right about CNS not fighting for him, I think that CNS sees a change might be a step forward.

And, I have no doubt that CNS will use this is a step forward.

Bo scarborough's lack-luster performance in the bench press compared to a one-handed Shaq Griffin that year was when I started to wonder about this. The injuries that last few seasons has kept me wondering about this.
