So, the Samsung memorabilia giveaway was legit but it was an assigned item drawing, meaning my strategy of having my wife and I pick six different items might have paid off.

I ended up winning a Stabler-signed helmet!

Two long pass plays , a stupid penalty, a turnover in the red zone and a blocked punt made this one look close, but one team dominated the other!
I don’t know what to make of this team either!

As I said in the 2nd half thread, this team is incredibly talented, but incredibly flawed.

We just need to find consistency. There are some things like the OL and the secondary that really just need to get fixed. But from a big picture point of view. we are better than any of our remaining opponents, and good enough to beat Georgia.

But part of the issue is this is just a transition year and Alabama is a program that can expect to compete for championships in transition years.

Agree, I think Holden gets more time, although I didn`t see him without the ball. Good compliment of receivers with the addition of Holden.

I was at the 2007 game when we started this run. This is just as sweet as back then!

Any win over Tennessee is a great win.

SEC Final said some things I didn't think of. First, we had some screw-ups in the defensive backfield, but for the most part we got that corrected. Yes, Josh got caught looking for calls or something on that last one, but we survived it. Devonta Smith did the same thing to LSU in the 2019 game.

We also held Tennessee way under their scoring average, and took away what they normally do best which is run the ball. Hooker is not a bad QB, and until that interception he was pretty accurate with his passes.

I wonder if CNS was aggravated with the fans for lighting up early. I don't think so, as he seemed really happy for the fans.

Last, as CNS said, yeah, we had some mental lapses but we'll get them fixed. Right now we're going to enjoy this win. Roll Tide

We played just poorly enough for 3 quarters for them to have a sliver of hope... then crushed them in the fourth and left them wondering where it all went wrong. Now we get a week to rest and heal up for the stretch run.
