I think part of it is these kids get this money now. Quite a few don't play team ball. All about themselves. Some don't care about the process anymore.
I challenge you to show a specific example of this. This sounds like a bunch of fan sour grapes crap. I offer Wil Anderson's interview as my evidence as everything you just said is pure BS.

One thing that I notice that successful passing teams are doing against us is taking 3 step drops and firing the ball to the primary receiver. It takes our pass rush out of the game.
And yet our coaches can't seem to figure out what to do about it when it's obvious what teams are doing. I feel that there is no accountability these last few years in the program and that is scary to me.

It’s been over 30 mins since I posted this. The fact that no one can answer this (after the worst defensive performance in Saban’s tenure) speaks volumes.
The only person that knows the answer is Saban. We have 4 and 5 star players 3 deep on the defensive side of the ball, so the Jimmys and Joes are there. So the problem must lie with the X's and O's and that is coaching. So if I keep going down this path I have to say that logically if we see this then coach Saban does too.
So if he sees it and hasn't made a change at DC (or OC), why not? That is scary. You know what is more scary, maybe Saban doesn't see it as a coaching issue?

Here is my problem with the “refs costed us” crowd. We commit tons and tons of penalties, and while Tennessee got some home cooking it doesn’t change that we committed and have been committing alot of penalties. We are more of a Marc Richt Team and less of a Nick Saban team. Teams that commit this level of penalties rarely win championships.

I don't know, it looks like they are getting pushed around and are not physical. In fact, the whole team looks smaller and not as physical since Coach Cochran left.

Unless he has been lying to us, he keeps saying “The plays are there, we need to execute better”.

How can anyone not see putting Hellams on Hyatt was a bad idea?

I do understand those things. Golding has proven year after year that he simply has no answer for up-tempo offenses. A single receiver simply cannot score 5 TDs on 6 catches. It’s not like these were back shoulder fades inside the 5 yard line. A single receiver hasn’t killed us this bad since Josh Reed.

Pruitt would have dialed up the pressure and had Hooker on his back repeatedly.
Did you watch the game? Hooker wasn’t taking a 7 step drop and trying to throw. He gets rid of the ball. CNS and Pete did the mush rush to try and keep Hooker from taking off outside. Don’t get me wrong, Jeremy is the best DC of the CNS era because he grew up in his younger days at Hoover when he had to defend this new offense every day in practice. UT will beat UGA because Kirby would still get in the fetal position to this day when trying to defend malzaughn crap at au. When Jimbo beat au and Gus, who was his dc?

Can't argue with that.

There is no getting around the fact that it is now an established pattern that we meltdown with self inflicted mistakes on the road every time now.

Unfortunately, it seems we needed a wake-up call for both players and coaches.

A wake-up call for players - a significant number, at least - to pay more attention to the work that's done on Mondays through Wednesdays.

A wake-up call for coaches - certain ones, at least - to re-evaluate their approach to game-planning and in-game adjustments.

Hopefully, this loss will serve for both - instead of being brushed aside by a miraculous snatching of victory from the jaws of defeat.

This game would have been a blowout for UT against 98 out of 100 teams, given how this game started. This team can still be a championship team but we have to learn from this loss. Experience is what you win when you lose. And losing is learning - when you're doing it correctly.

If we can grow from this, we'll likely see OSU in the playoffs.

If not, this will be another 2010 for Alabama...
If this team makes it there and that is a big if the last team they want to see is OSU with all those wide receivers.

At least three players spiked a TD today with no call. Fla player just did and a game earlier today, can't remember which one.
