An insider on another board said Garrett Riley was not even contacted to be OC at Bama and was not even on the list. If true, that is interesting. I think he will be a good OC for Clemson. I'm surprised Dabo actually fired someone and hired from the outside instead from within again. Their freshman QB has lots of potential. With their schedule, they will probably make the ACC championship game again and be in the hunt for the playoffs.
yeah, that’s the way I feel. Clemson’s defense played well in most games, the offense crapped the bed and gave little support.
A half decent OC can take advantage of Klubnik and the offensive talent available.

I read that on another board also. UA cleared Pruitt to hire but they are waiting on NCAA is what I read. Golding will help Ole Miss because their defense is bad and I'm pretty sure Kiffin will let Golding run his own defense. Golding is a good recruiter also, and will probably try saying bad stuff about Bama. Hopefully Coach Saban will get a significant upgrade so our defense can get back to the Bama standard.
Pruitt won't be hired at any SEC school next year. Waiting on NCAA ? Here's the facts:

There is a gentlemen’s agreement between Sankey and the AD’s. It’s a holdover from Mike Slive’s time. Here it is:

No SEC school will hire a coach who got another SEC program on probation – as long as that other school remains on probation. For cases that are unfinished like UT's – but are likely to result in probation - the rule remains the same. It goes for all sports – not just football. Pruitt won’t be coaching in the SEC next year – whether at Bama or anywhere else. The only way he might coach at Bama is if the NCAA rules on UT’s case and doesn’t place them on probation. That takes forever.

The idea that the NCAA might "clear him" while the UT case remains open is a joke. It isn't going to happen folks - not this year and likely never.

I dont think they will ever do anything to UT......................they dont even act like they are interested in penalizing them............despite the claims they have ironclad evidence to penalize them

They may not do anything to UT. But the case has been opened by the NCAA, and it has not yet been closed. Until the case is closed JP is not coaching in the SEC.
