Now that several spring practices are under the belt, what’s everyone hearing in terms of who has the early lead to be QB #1 for Bama?

You will know what information the government has on UFOs before you hear much on Alabama’s starting QB.
What year have we not had players, someone who is close to the team, or a reporter that is in the know, tell us what the buzz is on items such as who’s looking the sharpest in Spring ball? I’m sure Jam has heard some buzz on the QBs!

And they maintain their sources by judicious dissemination of information.

The A-Day game will garner all sorts of attention, but I don’t think it will mean much. We’ll know when we know.

With no inside information whatsoever, I expect the battle to go into the UTw game.

Even if it doesn’t, it will.

Haven't read anything about the QBs really.

Most of what I've read has been about DL, OL and a little about WRs

Ja'Corey Brooks was asked Wednesday about what he’s seen from each quarterback through six spring practices.

“I’ve always seen Jalen develop, ever since we got here together,” he said of Milroe. “He’s trying to become a leader. He’s becoming a leader more on the team. He’s just stepping up big time for us, making some good reads out there in practice, always competing.”

And Simpson?

“I’ve seen a lot of improvement from him,” Brooks said. “Also, both quarterbacks. They’re both competing, hard working, they’re getting the job done.”

So...🤷‍♂️

Milroe has been leading 1's all spring, and Simpson got some work with 1's. It's likely to stay that way until Summer/Fall camp... and maybe all the way to Game 1.... I still think Simpson is likely to be the starter by Game 1 or 2.
