Thinking back on his first at bama, I never thought this could happen, his pops must be very proud. Good job Jalen, his agent and Mr roseman.
Really unbelievable. Can't think of a more deserving guy. I would have never believed this

One thing I know about Jalen too, is that he will find a way to make an impact on the world with some of this money. I'm sure he'll enjoy it too, as he should. But I know he'll be thoughtful about the impact he can have on others too.

High school, stadium and field house where he played and daddy coached him is about to get renamed after Jalen makes a "small" contribution.

Just incredible. As much as I liked him, I felt sure he needed to change positions to play in the NFL. He started to come on his last season at Alabama, though, under Dan Enos and it showed when he came in in relief in the SEC Championship Game. And, obviously, he blew up at Oklahoma. But even then I had my doubts he'd be an elite NFL starter.

You and almost everyone else. With guys like him, it’s what you don’t see and hear that tells the story. His drive to be the best never diminished from the time he set foot in Tuscaloosa. He had phenomenal physical tools and the background that allowed him to build on it, one brick at a time.
It’s the players who crave attention, who demand to be loud that are the perfect foils for JH. They can keep the limelight, he just wants to win. I saw it in the spring game, maybe his sophomore year. One TD and a couple of other passes that could have been caught with more effort, IMO, and it would have made a difference. I don’t know how much the QB battle played into it; I know, back then, Tua would scramble forever to try and throw but JH was more quick to hit the gas. Can’t help but think receivers knew that.
I never doubted he had the drive to get where he is; sometimes that’s not enough because you have 21 other guys playing too. To my untrained eye, he always had the physical tools. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy.
