Hard to believe it’s been five years since they walked off the field in Atlanta in January of 2018 after Tagovailoa replaced an ineffective Hurts to win the national championship for Alabama. Later that year in December, the roles reversed as Jalen stepped up for Tua to save the SEC title.That year tied them together forever. One day, if hard work and good fortune can work together for both of them, let’s hope two of this state’s favorite sons stand on the same field again in fierce but friendly opposition in the Super Bowl.
