He was sentenced this morning getting 3 to 10 years.
It is my understanding that it is a plea agreement. I don't think he can appeal but could be wrong. Also, it seems like a somewhat odd sentence??I am guessing he can appeal this? Hopefully he can serve his time and get out and turn his life around.
Maybe I'm in the minority but I have not had more than a beer and gotten behind the wheel in the better part of 30 years.I don't think it's nearly apples to anything enough. Our society, roads, and cars are set up to allow this. Henry just broke the law more than most do. I bet a good portion of people on this site speed and drink and drive. And I even bet most of those do both at times.
But our bars, restaurants, roads, streets, and autos are all too easy to combine in the wrong proportions as well.

Wasn't the family awarded a bunch of money already? Might explain the lighter sentencing?I read that the prosecution felt that the BAC would be suppressed and that they wouldn't have been to get a conviction on what they really wanted. I imagine that explains the odd sentence.
