Jalen Milroe is now the starter going forward.

Could it be that

1. JM had the advantage coming out of fall camp
2. After the TX game coaches wanted to see what the other 2 guys could do
3. They got the answer (yes the line is bad but it will be bad for anyone)

JM gives us the best chance to win. Period?

I will finish as I always do, I trust the guy who has brought us 6 chips.

Clay
Chips?

For crying out loud, that may be worse than using the stupid term "natty."

Then im sure these team meetings were really about playing hard right?

Its very known that the team supports JM. Its very known that JM reacted so poorly to being benched he was demoted to 3rd string.

Doesnt take a genius to read b/t the lines here
lots of folks are making up a lot based on rumor and innuendo right now to explain things

Yep.

Somebody else said, but why would CNS come out and announce to Kiffin we rolling with Milroe on Monday???

Something's off.
How about to quiet this crazy media and fan churn that started with the Texas loss? Those are outside distractions, no matter what, and the coach is smart to try and quell them.

If Rees has Milroe try to do a three step drop and read long routes after Ole Miss has stopped the running game and has stacked the box...........that may be when I have to turn the channel.

This.

I think at this point even if Saban doesnt think JM is the guy. He's going to roll with the team on this one and get everyone on the bus.

Hence why i said earlier... did the team make the decision or saban... i think Saban knows this is the only way to get the majority of the team on board. So he went with it.

That said. Its still a huge red flag. And its certainly not in Saban we trust inside that lockerroom. All the quotes from former players about you better listen to Saban... means there are some in there.. that arent and dont.

Situation REEKS and REEKS bad.
Only thing reeking are your posts bro.

you're out of your mind if you think Saban is playing a worse player because the team likes him more.

Saying the gap b/t the two players arent worth it to continue the circus over. Think Saban clearly knew JM wasnt the guy after texas.. or else why does he make the change?

As i said, I have my guesses. I posted before the SF game that Milroe was on his way out and wouldnt even be the backup. This held to be true.

I dont think Saban had a mind changing revolution during the SF game where now its we have a clear #1 QB.

So read b/t the lines as you may. For people wanting truth there will never be concrete truth b/c its all inside the lockerroom.

ok, I'll bite. What are those plays he should call that Milroe has shown he can execute?

I don't know offensive details well enough to get in a super detailed discussion. But if Milroe was my QB I would do some QB powers and not just basic QB draws, more rolling out and moving the pocket so he only has to read half the field at times, and more one read type plays where he doesn't have to think and can throw it or take off. Probably some jet sweep type stuff and quick throws as well. Anything to reduce the mental burden and emphasis his physical gifts.

I'm not saying this would fix everything (it wouldn't he's an imperfect QB) but I do think it would fit him better than dropping straight back in a pocket.

Again i posted before the SF game that Milroe wouldnt even be the second QB in.

You go from 3rd stringer to starter in less than 48 hours?

No innuendo there
