I have a hard time thinking Saban just woke up today and decided hey yeah it is time to retire with how prepared he is especially if he has already picked his successor and told him.

No, of course not. He`s known for some time that this was his last season. JMHO, but the game`s changed too much for CNS. I really don`t blame him.

I agree. There is no way he woke up today and decided to retire. That goes against everything he is known for. This is something he has thought about for a while and was probably just waiting for the season to be over with before he announced it. I think the replacement is already hired and will be announced by next week.

He gave Michigan a couple of days to be in the news for winning the championship. This will be in the news for the rest of the week and by this weekend rumors will start on who the next coach is and he will be hired by next week is my guess.
