It really is unreal, do none of these kids want to compete anymore. These kids are transferring without even strapping on a helmet.
Here's how I'm viewing all of this portal nonsense...
It's nonsense. Guys that don't want to be here... go. Good riddance. Go make a few more dollars somehere else. We will win with you or without you and it is to your detriment that you don't get to experience (because you didn't embrace) THE University of Alabama.

I'm not letting a 17, 18, 20, 25 year old "professional / kid" impact MY love for UA. These guys who leave arepart of the problem.
That said, we could go nuclear and try and get as many as we can from all of these schools that are poaching. A better response is for the guys that stay to double down on their commitment to DESTROY those teams when we play them.

I think our line this year was too bulky and wasn't built for pass protection anyways...
Only question I have is, did Sayin transfer because Mack transferred to Bama or did Mack transfer to Bama because DeBoer knew Sayin was about to transfer?

Most of these kids in the portal came to play for Saban, not Alabama.
Now we know why DeBoer got Mack.
Some of these players have probably never had to compete for a starting spot.
I'm so angry at this. The stupid 30-day window absolutely screwed us.
And I'm afraid the "Alabama culture" and "The Process" mean nothing. It's just a bunch of selfish kids looking to get paid. It's not college football. And it's not professional football either; those guys have to sign contracts.

I think by default we`d have to try to go the DESTROY route because we don`t have the money to do the first.
Sayin and Downs hurt the most to me. Downs more so but Sayin feels like a gut punch too
I wonder If he had already made that decision and that's why Mack was brought in. Who knows, we could be seeing more.
The worst part about the 30 day window is the bad publicity the program is going through right now, there’s nothing we can do to stop the bleeding right now until after spring, so the negative recruiting will continue and some of these kids will probably be like “I don’t want to be part of a sinking ship”, not saying it is but still.
