Bama Game Thread: Official Game Thread - Postgame Thread...

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

I don’t think Ty gets to play unless #4 elects to sit out the bowl game to prevent injuries before the draft.

Ty won’t get a rep va AU unless #4s helmet comes off and has to miss a play.
He should get to play...........I'd sit Sir Lank down and tell him both will play and if one does better he will play more...........time to take that bull by the horns

I think it's silly to be calling for CKD's resignation one season in. Anyone who thought we would see no downtick in performance was deluded and probably spoiled. There are definite problems, clearly, but. let's give the man some time. There's no excuse for the poor performance we've seen, but it's completely irrational to think there is anyone else that we would be able to plug in who would be able to immediately right the ship, even if their name rhymed with Tick Playpen. Remember that the specters of these same problems were going on last year too.

Here's the problem with just being steady and "consistent" - this is alabama football! We bleed crimson, we live this! We're passionate about it! I want a coach that hates losing, that hates the thought of playing bad. That holds everyone to a high standard. I want emotion, because, guess what?? Every bama fan watches with emotion!!! The coach better be even more upset than me when things go wrong.
I dont think he will ever show that kind of fire................

Is that statement wrong. I am by no means saying Milroe was great, but darn there were a ton of balls that WRs and TEs dropped left and right.
He's not gonna publicly criticize the players. I would take what he's saying with a grain of salt lol. DeBoer knows the problem, and he'll take care of it the first chance he gets, which will likely be the off-season.

Milroe was not great, but blaming the loss on him entirely is to miss just how bad the effort was all around.

There was the TD the ref took. There was one of several drops, then there was also the int where the receivers just stood there and watched. Let's not even get into the play calling and lack of adjustments. If Milroe was the only issue that game Alabama still wins and wins easily.

Alabama won a championship game under Saban with a quarterback that had broken ribs, completed 6 passes and ran for -27 yards. They scored 37 points and won by 16.
2009 might as well be a different sport

#4 should be told to clean out his locker and never come back to the football facility the day after the AU game. Cut slingload.

A couple tough-to-swallow snippets I saw on Reddit:

Maine scored more than we did.

By 247’s metrics, we are the most talented team in NCAAF, with 17 5 stars.
Georgia is the second most talented team, and it’s not really that close. This is the third time this year I’ve posted this in a post game thread…sadIMG_0536.png

He will get his time............and He should. Give him the chance to turn it around

He gifted OU two TD's.

The refs did not cost us that game. Were they bad? yes, but it was a colossal failure on KDB and Milroe and to a lesser extent the D and wommack.

Ultimately, NIL is responsible for this mess. Milroe never would have played for any Saban team pre 2021.
Tua outplayed hurts from day 1. All summer all I heard from practice was that Tua would be the starter by November because he was way better than Jalen. Never happened until it absolutely had to. The best qb isn't always on the field at Bama and I've never understood it. Even going back to the zow/watts days.
