Bama Game Thread: Official Game Thread - Postgame Thread...

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

Everyone is blaming Milroe (mostly), but what is he supposed to do when half the opposing team is in his ear within 0.00571 seconds of snapping the ball? Where's the offensive line? Do we even have one?

That's the biggest thing that needs to be corrected.
I think everyone is laying blame all the way around, but Milroe has been a big catalyst of many issues

Growing pains is one thing. Tonight was like letting a three year old tumble down the stairs because you failed to put a gate up.

Ponder this: did DeBoer throw those 2 back-breaking interceptions when it was obvious that the defender was a foot away? Any decent QB would have looked at another receiver.

The coaches deserve some reproach, as do the refs, but this loss is squarely on the QB
It’s on the coach who let him continue to mess up. I really wanted to use more salty language there.

I'm tired of the one player show on offense. It's cost us an entire season.
Blame the coaches. They allow him to do his own thing. Yank his butt and lets move on to the next QB and get a head start on next year. If every year is SEC/NC or bust, we are done for the year. So lets start on next year and play some players that buy in to the coach's plan. IF you aren't on board, then see ya.

He requires too much time to throw.

I hate to pile on, but it cost us a championship in 2023 too. Honestly, any other starting QB in Saban’s tenure likely wins a title last year. Our defense was so good, and we had excellent skill players.
It isnt piling on though................with a good QB Bama would have been right there. Milroe flubbed the dub against Michigan as well

Reactions: The Ols
Refs did us all a favor by instantly removing the idea that a comeback was remotely possible. Incredibly unprepared and consistently undisciplined. LANK needs to be extinguished from the program.

Also, how can you stand in someone else's endzone pre-game and act like you're holstering pistols when you throw 3 ints and run backwards?

Saban shouldn't have been so loyal to Hurts.............shame of it all is I would take Hurts over Milroe right this moment

I've said it 100 times. Hurts was better as a tf than milroe is now after 4 years in the program.

QB sets the protections, so usually if something happens and we roll protection away from pressure, that's the qbs fault. The other option is throw hot routes, but JM is not consistent at that at all.

Apparently two different coaching staffs can't deal with the QB situation.
