Actually the LANK crowd is questioning the staff. It’s all they have. They certainly aren’t going to criticize their deity.
With any luck ( and I am due some) we hear him declaring for the draft.............and I think he's gone. Come back another year and tank the team and his draft stock is zero. He needs to be encouraged to take his show on the road

I have no idea how the team will respond since it's been so long since a regular season game was just for bragging rights but nothing else.
Me either. Doesn’t matter how much “harder” you try one cannot run a 4.3 forty with 5.5 speed. Can’t press 300 with 200 strength. Can’t create more mental capacity when the coffer is full and hardwired. I don’t know if the Barn has the same defensive capabilities as OU but EVERYONE with any football knowledge at all knows how to beat Bama with JM as QB. I have ZERO expectations for this year’s Iron Bowl.

I said it before the season, and I’m saying it now, my interest is waning. And this a good year of CFB for the most part. I’ve missed huge chunks of games the last few weeks. I watched maybe 6 minutes live last night, I had other things to do. If this keeps up, I won’t even watch the recorded games after the fact. With that, I actually enjoyed watching Florida play the last 2 weeks.

I would not way we were dominate so much as we just gave up. The coaches put in crap effort on game plan. And the players put in crap effort in executing the crap plan. It wasn’t like Oklahoma put up huge numbers. We just rolled over
When Jackson Arnold, a QB that supposedly wasn’t suppose to present an issue for you in the ground game because “he isn’t a running qb” goes through your defense like a dose of exlax through a crippled dog, and they havd 200+ yards at half on the ground , yep we were dominated.

After Milroe threw that pick 6, and no change was made at QB, it was all over but the shouting.

There’s not much you can do when your QB can’t throw the ball short/quickly with any accuracy. The only solution is to put another QB in. The fact that we haven’t tried any other QBs since the 2023 USF game should tell us our QB situation is way worse than we‘re willing to admit. I have been super high on Simpson since he came here, but he must absolutely suck. It’s the only explanation.
I 100% believe the OL/WR played poorly on purpose to make a point to Saban and the locker room that LANK was in control now.
I believe all of that. I’m basically saying Milroe is too stupid to realize Bama didn’t want him.
Seems pretty smart to me. Why would you go somewhere else when you are head of the LANK mafia at Bama? He had his guaranteed starting spot after ‘23 USF and controlled the locker room.

Honestly I don’t know why no one until Oklahoma really copied Michigan. You beat him by loading the box and forcing him to drive the field. He can’t do it.

I don’t care how many people want to compare him to Vince Young or Lamar Jackson, but Milroe’s legs are not these equalizer attributes that everyone makes them out to be. Get him going East to west and he is cooked. He is what you get when you expect josh Jacobs to play quarterback. He isn’t going anywhere but straight ahead. Lamar is someone you desperately want to go straight ahead because him going east to west is a nightmare for you. But milroe is not that guy.

2009 might as well be a different sport
Let's take a look at two box scores.

6/11 passing for 58 yards
51 rushes for 205 yards

9/12 for 68 yards
50 rushes for 257 yards

The first was Alabama in in the 2009 championship game against Texas.
The second was Oklahoma against Alabama last night. Neither game was close.

I don’t know why you keep pressing this. The situations couldn’t be more different.

He and his mafia should be sent packing and if he tries to do his LANK from afar then banish them from the campus

We aren’t going to be able to bring quite as much thunder as OK could. Milroe might have a bounce back opportunity. We're too limited personnel wise. At least Durkin won’t make the same mistake Ron Roberts did in last years IB if it comes down to that.
I think AU's team is more solid than OU's right now. OU was literally missing over half of their offensive starters and still ran through us like we weren't there.

Three different fan bases stormed the field against us this year. The first post Nick Saban year has not been kind. From the highest highs (beating Georgia) to the lowest lows (losing to Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Oklahoma) we proved we are not a championship team.

I've been pressing this for around a decade. Over-reliance on the QB is a major issue along with inability to establish a reliable running game.

The other thing I would say is the situation is different for whom? Oklahoma recognized they were going to have trouble passing the ball so they compensated by stuffing the ball down Alabama's throat, even when Alabama knew they were going to run the ball. Alabama let a 3 star running back have more yards and more TDs and he's had in his entire career (total!).

This is something Alabama has forgotten how to do, but they darn sure used to be able to do it.
