JessN: Potential transfer portal targets as Bama remakes its roster

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

We.lost 4. Law, Odom, Prentice and henderson.

Right

Hale is coming off injury and we also dont know the extent of Bubba hampton or jeffersons injuries at the moment. Meadows needs a RS so may as well not count him in 25 numbers.

May need one more just to have spring practice.

Also germie left some room to wonder if he may head to the draft this year in an interview today.

When I watched UT SW was always highly involved in the offense. Seems twitchy and fast if my memory serves me.

Don't know if his stats support us pursuing him and but I do know this, as we start to transition toward CDK's system, having depth at WR will be important and if he's an instant plug in he could be a good addition.

IIRC, Jalen Hale was making noise during fall camp and set to be a part of the WR rotation before his injury.

But if he has a full recovery it could have been a blessing in disguise because he could have fallen into the Odom/Law camp of being unhappy about targets.

One thing I do remember about TS's short stints of PT is he would target multiple players; not just one or two.

If Hale gets back to form we will have a very dangerous WR room.

Wasn’t Hale injured in Spring? Seems he was in a full leg brace at A-day

Agree, TS, from the little we have seen, will try to take what's open and what the D is giving so it's much more likely for many receivers to be engaged.

I am certain of that......just wondering if they are waiting on him to say it.........

Bernard, Jackson and overton and latham are all in tempting spots imo about if they should enter the draft.

I think all would would be best served with another year of tape as starters. Overton is being projected in round 2 on some mocks (really good considering what aTm was doing with him)

Gronkowski from the FCS, is potentially entering the portal after his coach left for a new job. Ten thousand yards is ten thousand yards.

Wonder if Alabama would look at him for a one year kind of thing.

Lots of talking heads claiming DeBoer is losing too much talent to be relevant, but I think he is going to retain alot and add much in the portal
