Bourbon Street isn’t that particularly close to the Dome. But I think it might be more be about the use of Bourbon Street as the after party location.I am surprised. Beef up security and clear the stadium for threats, but postponing the game is what terrorism is about - using violence to instill fear and disrupt lives.
I am thinking there is something more not getting reported. They literally went from an hour ago saying they were on schedule to 24 minutes ago postponing.I am surprised. I understand the reasoning behind a "do not cave" stance on this. At the same time, I know many probably wish it could be cancelled. Obviously, that's impossible but, wow...how sickening.I just googled it and saw several New Orleans stations reporting it will be Wednesday...
If I had not had to go pick up some drugs at CVS, I would not have even known about it. Not one mention on the nonsports board.I understand the reasoning behind a "do not cave" stance on this.
