Political Meme - Cartoon/Joke Thread...Part XXXII

If you judge a book by its cover, then yes. Absolutely board those boats and inspect their cargo with your guns trained on them. Whatever.

But killing everyone on board by exploding them is wrongheaded, illegal, and immoral, and Un-Christian to the maximum. If we don't have some kind of due process, then we simply have nothing sacred. Are the guys in the top picture being forced to drive the boat? Maybe. Are they simply drug mules being forced to drive the boat to another boat/location? Who knows? Do they need to die because they are driving a boat with drugs? Absolutely not. However, if they fire weapons at our ships, then the gloves are off. I don't even know why I have to type this.

Do they deserve to die? Well, certainly no more than the rich college kids who are BUYING and snorting up their drugs here in the USA. Buyer and seller are both in this together, but neither should be executed, and certainly not without due process.

Extrajudicial killing based upon a look is the kind of thing I grew up learning the USSR did, and we, the country of freedom, were better than. Boy, was I taught a bunch of malarkey.

Until we get rid of drug users (nearly impossible), we will have drug sellers, and drug mules. But this is NOT they way to hand it.

It isn't "rich college kids" that are dying by the thousands from fentanyl. It is poor to middle class for the most part, the ones that Democrats are supposed to be in love with. When you are at a state of war with a group of people, from another country, that have absolutely no respect for the rule of law or anything else to do with civilization then you sometimes have to take action. Arresting them is not the answer. They'll never spend a second in prison and it would cost millions to try them. These are people that are fond of killing their own and putting their bodies on stakes for everyone to see and be warned.

Setting aside any discussion of your comments..........

The objective of the meme was pointing out the sheer absurdity of calling these boats "fishing boats".

Talk about gas lighting......lol......

I always found that funny, too. Fishing? The distance being traveled would be like boating from Miami to Virginia Beach. And these fish must be fast as hell to need 3 high-end outboards to keep up with them.

If we're going to pretend to be any kind of shining beacon of morality or lawfulness, blowing up boats is the opposite of what we should be doing. Disable the boats, destroy the boats after capturing the drivers, whatever, but extrajudicial killing? That makes us a 2 bit dictatorship.

And it is the RICH Americans buying a lot of more cocaine (funding the drug chain), which largely comes from Columbia through Venezuela. Fentanyl is being manufactured and mixed in Mexico, not Venezuela and that is NOT a rich person's drug of choice.
