Paraphrased, since he said it a little differently each time "A football team never stays still. It either improves or it gets worse." The conference championship games need to disappear. Notre Dame gets to sit at home. Practice. Rest. Heal up. And then get in because we lose to #3

Before the game started I said I wish we’d finished 3rd in the conference and were watching Ole Miss play UGA today while we knew we were in the playoffs for sure. My opinion still stands.

We are about to get punished for finishing 1st in the SEC regular season, and that stinks.

If they leave us out then teams should decline to play in the Championship game...when staying home and not playing is rewarded then the whole playoff becomes a hot mess...just pick the teams on the Tuesday before the championship games and be done
