Great idea except I bet there are some Montana State boosters with something to say about that. Those guys take their football seriously too.

This is exhausting to see people overreacting to lot of negative news within Alabama football. It's one thing to be concerned but to see comments that's so deflecting and that's not what is bothering me..... This is what bothering me :
Kedrick Bingley-Jones had an interview with Andrew Bones and he pretty much said that he saw the comments about him being ranked low and how he would work hard to earn the trust of the fans.

He should've never had to say that ....because fans left and right are insulting incoming players and potential players are noticing that. If Kendrick saw the comments about him, you can bet that they saw all of the conversations on this board and other places.

We have the right to be upset, but we also need to take a step off the ledge and calm down. The reactions here and on other boards are little too much right now. It's not just players but we have people like Clint Lamb who's addressing the very same thing.

This isn't fussing at anyone. I'm just reminding everyone that we gotta realize what things we be saying has huge impact whether we realize it or not. For what it's worth . I may not like what's going on, but I'm not saying anything negative toward a player or staff. I'm just gonna let it play out and see how it works out. I mean they brought in #2 class for a reason. Just get what they need and go to work and develop those kids.

Im gonna step away from this group for a while until everything settles down and roster is finalized.

Exactly . And regardless, that was his job..He got paid the big bucks to do just that. The fans don't have to live that way. Don't know why people wanna put themselves through that kind of misery for something that really doesn't affect their life all that much. I prefer to see things from a glass half full perspective. Regardless of how the past few days have gone, there is still a ton to be excited about future. The portal hasn't gone our way, but we continue to nail it in high school recruiting, and that's ultimately what's going to win championships. We still have 95% of last year's recruiting class, and 100% of this year's class, so regardless of what happens with the portal, we're gonna see guys emerge that many haven't heard of. Don't think we were ever going to just grand slam the portal. Just get some solid pieces that work together as a team and there's still plenty of time to do just that. It's gonna be okay, folks.

Spicoli did that at IOU. Probably a good move since those guys know what to expect with routine, culture and all. Probably a good move really.
 
I read that Miami and Tennessee are in a bidding war to get Ty Simpson to come back as their QB, Miami offering 7 million now. Is this true? If so, unreal. Supposedly Ty is still leaning towards the NFL draft though.

Ty is a Gump... loved his goodbye video and the saying of "You are either Alabama or you aren't". Team captain, etc.... I thought he would either declare for the draft or return to Bama... now schools are trying to get him to transfer.

Anyone know what he really plans to do?
