Beverly is a TTown kid, so the love is real!!Another angle of it that crossed my mind is some of these guys may be more “coachable”, and team oriented guys, not just looking to get paid.
Maybe even some guys here just because they “love Bama”….

it's going to happen. and the star gazers will be overjoyed once again.I have a feeling the majority of them will be 4 stars before all is said and done
There is the often overlooked trend that many 3 stars are underrated and so rated by those who have no idea how to rate them...............Mark Ingram being a prime example
some Bama fans on social media saw his highlights and wondered why he didn't get any SEC offers. I think that will change sooner than later. This kid has a motor and we got a good one.

Alabama Lands Commitment from Local Four-star Prospect
Jeremiah Beverly announced his commitment to the Alabama Crimson Tide, becoming Alabama’s 12th commit of its 2027 class. Beverly is a four-star defensive linemwww.si.com
look at his offer list. these are thing one should look for when evaluating a so-called 3 star3* WR Kyren Caldwell announcing on 7/4 and we are in good position. Just watched highlight video since his name just came up recently and it is very good.

the list goes on and on, but let's give a recent example.Demeco Ryans
Javier Arenas
Josh Jacobs
Tyler Younger started playing Edge 5 games into last season. the kid is an athlete period. his highlights are a glimpse with the huge potential to be very good down the road. I expect his senior season to catch lots of attention. his height with room for growth is something the staff is waiting on.
Avrian Pauley is criminally underrated, and I expect that to change come his senior season. looking at
his offer list, without knowing his rankings, one would think he's a high 4 star. his body frame and size have room to add good muscle and mass.
Darius White has 6 offers from SEC schools including Georgia and Tennessee. FSU also offered.
the kid is a 6'3 CB. that doesn't come every day. I'm sure Mo Linguist is salivating on all these tall and twitchy CB coming in.

The guy from Mississippi was the same way, Alabama was the first power offer, he just couldn’t resist the ole Miss money.![]()
In-state Alabama DL commit AJ Pauley shuts down recruitment despite push from Michigan, FSU & others
The decision comes a few months after the on-campus commitment while in Tuscaloosa (Ala.) for A-Day on April 11. Other programs, including Michigan, were pushing for a summer visit. That did not take place.247sports.com
like we said, look at the top programs that are offering and going after Bama commits. not bad for a 3 star.
as mentioned previously, DeBoer and staff are evaluating really well despite the noise!
"That visit marked the fifth trip this year for the 6-foot-5, 265-pounder, who was a top target for the Crimson Tide since the September 2025 offer, which was the first from a Power 4 program"
As predicted, the four star receiver from IMG committed.
I wonder what this means for Sales. They are very different, but still big time prospects.
Sales is 6'5" and 200lbs. Closer to the height of someone like Julio Jones, who was 6'4".I am not sure how much is left in the collective for Sales but I know it won't be as much as Bama's competitors. If he decides to come home that will be great. We do have two very tall WR's on the roster in Meadows and Morgan. Gayles is as talented but not as tall as Sales and has the same physical traits as Devonta, Jeudy and Ruggs IMO.
For me it would be such torment: what would I do if Bama offered a $350k package, but someone else offered a $550k package. Would you go to your dream school for less money? Would you take more money for the financial freedom of your family?I am not sure how much is left in the collective for Sales but I know it won't be as much as Bama's competitors. While all of that is true, he also has to consider what his career will look like if he plays at Alabama vs. Indiana? For me it would be such torment: what would I do if Bama offered a $350k package, but someone else offered a $550k package. Very tough decision with potentially long lasting effects.
Calvin Johnson enters the chat. While all of that is true, he also has to consider what his career will look like if he plays at Alabama vs. Indiana?
The bigger $$$ will come with his pro career and college #s will dictate that.
I'd be looking at who the QBs and OCs are and how that will project over his 3 years of play.
It's my understanding that Gayles was never going to affect Sales, and that we have the money set aside for both. Last I heard, we were prepared to give Sales the most money we've ever paid to a player, and while I could be wrong, I haven't heard anything about that changing. I don't think it would be as much as Indiana's but I think it would be in the ballpark. That doesn't mean we will land him, but I think we're still trying hard to do so.I am not sure how much is left in the collective for Sales but I know it won't be as much as Bama's competitors. Neither of those amounts offers financial freedom.
