I was worried there for a bit that we'd upset her. Y'know, being in China and all and the Women's World Cup hanging in the balance.

Who in the hell cared about that during the game, and ESPECIALLY the 2nd time they put her on????

Anyone who thought she could provide input on 'what Alabama needs to do' please raise your hand!

I am glad she was on. Not only did it give us some extra exposure, but it also her team and sport the same.

It didn't annoy me until she told where all of her family went to school and said "sometimes it's hard to stay a bama fan". That annoyed me for the rest of both interviews.

I too was a bit annoyed with her comments about that "other-school"....
I'm sure the ESPN commentators were only trying to high-light Bama; but some times they just try and do too much while the game is going on, you know?

I mean soccer? lol

I kinda liked Mcfadden's ride. I didn't think you could do that to a Crown Victoria. Nice ride. As for the soccer chick, I thought it was annoying. I had to turn the volume down while watching the game and trying to hear what she was saying. They should have waited to do that when there was a timeout or something.

The ONLY reason they talked to her was to promote the women's world cup which is being televised by espn. The whole "interview" was nothing more than a plug...That chick is NOT a Bama fan. I mean, it's hard to cheer for Bama when they're playing Auburn? Give me a freaking break.

It was annoying and stupid, just like the pregame musical number. I have always taken up for ESPN and other networks when people are overly critical of their production, but they are getting ridiculous. I don't watch the stinking Super Bowl anymore because of all the "extra" crap that interferes with the football. Now, ESPN is turning college football into the same kind of sideshow for their entertainment. I don't like the stupid team introductions because the people are talking over the game. I wish they would just show the starting lineups and move on. I like football and want to watch football. If I wanted to see stupid musical performances, I would turn the channel to MTV. Does anyone in America really give a rat's rear about soccer? Yes, I know it is the most popular sport in the world, blah, blah, blah, but I can't stand it.

It was ANNOYING, merely a commercial in the middle of the game. Some other crap that bothers me too is: the announcing of the starting line up and darn near missing plays (at the start of the game), and staying focused on something/someone on the sidelines until the ball is snapped (and sometimes after). I really could care less about all that poop. I sometimes wonder if ESPN knows there is a football game going on.

THey used to know, but I think they have lost sight of the key component of a football game- the game itself. They think people want all the extra crap, but we really just want to see and hear the game.

It was annoying as he**. We muted it thru the whole thing. ESPN always does this during a game- they interview somebody right in the middle of a game and its STUPID. Nobody cares ESPN!!!! We don't care-we just want to see the game.

There's no way she was really a Bama fan. I think she was just on the show for a plug for the women's world cup, and because she had simply lived in Alabama sometime during her life.
