Wow. Houston's O coordinator called a pretty good game. That one was a curious play call though. I don't think I've ever seen a team overload a side with three wide outs just to throw a fade style toss up to that side. Too crowded over there to lob it up like that.

Well, it was ugly but not as ugly as a loss.
Defense really dug down and won when it counted. Thank you S Castille, W Gilberry, P Hall, D Mustin among others.
Offense...... well, keep practicing and lets get ready for the SEC run.

What I've thought for a while was confirmed today. We have some skill position players. We have more than UH. When it come to very important positions other than those, our players aren't any better than UH - and maybe not as good as a lot of CUSA teams. It's just very hard to face that fact...

I can't figure that one out...how can you just switch on and off like that?
I didn't actually see it, but it sure seems as though the offense just completely stops playing at points in the game...

I cannot believe that the coaching staff and offensive players who produced the 1st Quarter could respond so miserably to Houston's defensive adjustments.

Bottom line is with real Alabama football we should be able to score 30 points and win handily. Our defense has to get better.

We have to keep the D off the field as much as possible.
First Quarter, we simply controlled the pace of the game and dominated. Then the O goes flat after a few negative plays.
