Do you think I can pick up an LF game in Vegas??? Just kidding. I have missed two games b/c of work travel. Could be worse I guess.
I will just watch the replay online when I get back to my hotel room that night.

If ESPN GamePlan picks up the game, you should be able to see it somewhere.

If Bama doesn't turn the ball over a lot the MSU game won't be so rough. MSU wins because they force turnovers (4 against UK, 5 against AU) and they lose when they lose the turnover battle.

I will start worrying about the game once it begins and I see Bama putting the pigskin on the carpet.

That's a very good observation.

Last year, turnovers (as well as not showing up to play) killed us in that game.

I would love to see our defense force some payback turnovers on them.

And of course like everyone else that plays us, MSU gets an off week before Alabama.
The reason that MSU and also LSU had an off week before the Bama game is largely due to Alabama.
The MSU game was scheduled for Nov 3rd and the LSU game for Nov 10th.
Because both Alabama and LSU wanted to move the game back to the regular first week in Nov. they asked State to make a change.
MSU had an off week after the Bama game so they asked the SEC and MSU if they could change the game dates to satisfy the scheduling of LSU and Bama.
The SEC agreed and that is why MSU and LSU has an open week before playing Alabama.
So you cannot blame this one on the Roy Kramer curse.

Superstitiously, things are going our way...

No Game-Day crew in T'town this week.

LF broadcast for the MSU game.

I'm not camping until the LaMonroe weekend.

...but, that's only if you're a superstitious person. ;)
Hallelujah! Very overrated IMO.

I'm beginning to like LF!:)

Here's the kicker! You're not camping and I will finally get to attend my very first Alabama game in person.....sorry it wasn't to be @ BDS, but hey!
Take what's given! My entire family, with one exception, will be ringing those cow bells for MSU. I'll just have to drown out there noise with my yells! Hope rain is delayed for one day!

TiM, do you think my going is like your camping?
....I'm not superstitious! Are you?! LOL! BTW if Bama beats LSU, I'm definitely not concerned about MSU even though they have @ times made some good plays and won some surprises. Even if LSU wins, Bama will be up for task with MSU.

So this split broadcast thing doesnt affect people watching from anywhere in alabama to watch this game does it? I noticed some people were worried they wouldnt be able to watch it, but they all looked like they were out of state.

I just talked to the thieving pirates at my cable company and they report that UA/MSU will NOT be available here on Gameplan. They suggested I enjoy the Tennessee Arkansas game instead. This is a family board, as we are frequently reminded, so I won't repeat what I said.

Anyone else running into this? Going to be a long morning at the local sports bar if this isn't incorrect.

Is that maybe because of your location? I'm wondering if being in Franklin (relatively close to Starkville), you would be albe to pick up the broadcast of the game and not have to worry about it being in Gameplan. I'm just not sure how far the broadcast reaches.

I received an email from our Dallas/Fort Worth alumni chapter saying it is on Gameplan. They usually tell us when it will not be covered, and they've been accurate over the past two or three years.

I was just wondering about your location because of that map they show while you are waiting on a game to come on Gameplan where they show all the areas where the game is available. For all the Alabama games, Alabama is not highlighted, but I believe that is because people in and around Alabama don't need to watch Gameplan since they can watch the normal broadcast.
