I feel Saban is getting fed up with JPW

i am sure coach is upset with the play of jpw, but, the option to sit him, would only backfire, if greg did not do well. i expect we see jpw at auburn, and unless he screws up again early, he will play the whole game. like i said before, i am worried now about next season. i keep thinking of the quick passes against tenn, and miss. the ball was zipped in a couple of seconds, sure, they were short slants, sidelines for 7,8 yards, but it opened up the whole field. even the run worked better. there is no timing now. the defense played its best game, even against their two big backs. we played 4 down linemen most of the time and they got their yards on breaking their runs wide to the corners. we actually ran the ball a lot better today, over 125 yards, but, the sacks hurt that statistic.

This was a team effort.
JPW had more INT return yds than passing yards
Rashad Johnson dropped two ints
Nikita Stover dropped a TD pass
Keith Brown dropped 2 passes
DL & lbs overran 5-6 sacks
Marcus Carter was ........
Nick Walker fumbled the ball backwards 15 yards
The textbook 5 players who could have made difference

Jay Barker had a knockout Defense and a running game, as well as a much weaker SEC. Not saying he was not a fine QB, but circumstances were certainly much different than now.
The Stallings era is kinda defined by winning close games. Even in the 1992 season we played 3 games within one TD (UF, So. Miss, UT) where one performance like yesterday would have ended the season. The least a qb should do is not make mistakes that cost you game. Making plays to win games is an added bonus.

this game was one big leap backwards, its like everything we did right in the LSU game, today we did a complete 360 in the wrong direction, every thing we did wrong in the LSU game, well, we must have reviewed that in the game film from last week, because it was present once again today...

complete 360 huh? Think about that.

John Parker Wilson sucks. We're going to get beat by Auburn for the 6th year in a row if he's in the game. I think everyone is fed up with JPW.
Nope, not everyone! Some of us actually see things as a team sport. The blame can be spread around instead of being focused on one player. JPW did indeed have a bad game. That does not mean that he will always have bad games.

I can't see Coach Saban being "fed up" with Wilson. Because if that were true he would play someone else. So that is NOT true.

He's not the only one fed-up with him. I've had it with him. Over and over again he made the same STUPID mistakes Saturday. He NEVER looks for another receiver, he follows one receiver down the field and throws to him open or not.
The straw for me was the three straight throws out of bounds when we needed a first down to continue the drive. THREE STRAIGHT; FIRST DOWN, SECOND DOWN and then on THIRD DOWN!!! Give me a _ break!
He's scared to make a mistake now, so he's not going to do anything.
It's quite evident that JPW doesn't see the whole field. I'm seriously beginning to wonder if he doesn't have a vision problem. No slam intended. Yes, all QB's miss seeing an open receiver from time to time, but JPW seems to do it just about on every play. But your right about the mistake thing. He is gun shy right now.

Again, if CNS is fed up with him he'd play someone else. I can personally only come to two conclusions: (1) CNS is NOT fed up with him or (2) it's irrelevant whether or not he's fed up because he feels he has no other options. Like I said, I'd take it rather personally, if I were GMac or Fanuzzi, to see us stinking it up so bad at qb and I'm still not even getting so much as a sniff of the field.

I'd be willing to bet that if any of us were to visit to BDS today we would find the entire Tide team hard at work. This will not be a happy-go-lucky practice week for this Tide team. :pDT_orcdodo: :cuss: :pDT_orcspash:
