Not a blowout but not that close once you look at time of possession and total plays. The running game is clicking. Plus, our defense looks amazing, forcing countless three and outs.

Just my opinion!

I believe that Alabama will have to pass alot in the first quarter and half of the second. They will go out to stop the run. After a few many yard passing plays they will have to change their defense. This is when Alabama will take the game over. Roll Tide!!!!!!!!

I'm afraid Utah will be able to pass on us. The red zone will be difficult for them though. We will be able to run on them. The red zone should be more productive for us. Oh, and we will own the clock.

28-17 Bama

Most of you profess to respect us, but your predictions don't bear that out. Almost every one is a prediction of a blowout.

I think the Tide are overlooking Utah, and I think we're going to surprise the hell out of y'all.

Well I don't pretend to respect Utah. They must earn it.
That's fair enough. We're hoping to earn that respect.

We've had to do that with quite a few other teams in the past few years:

U of Southern Cal
Cal
UCLA
Texas A&M
U of North Carolina
Oregon State
Oregon
Michigan
and the list goes on...

But I wouldn't have it any other way. Earned on the field, not in the polls.

Those who spot you more than 10 points are indeed respecting you. Many teams (Clemson, Tennessee, MSU, Auburn, plus numerous others) have failed to do this. I agree with Cullman--respect is earned.

Hope I didn't sound harsh. It's just the world we live in today. I personally want nothing that is not earned. Not everyone feels the same as us however. Any way good luck and may the best team win.

Fans are fans, we can talk smack and all that, but don't think for a second that Coach Saban and the BAMA players are taking the Utes lightly. They will be ready to play. A lot of what I say comes from what I hope happens, not necessarily what will happen.:BigA:

No, you didn't sound harsh at all. I prefer the respect that is earned. And I believe in holding people accountable for their actions. I'd obviously prefer a playoff system, but hey, the Sugar Bowl is a hell of an end to a great season.

Good luck to y'all as well.

Bama really plays well in the first qtr.I think the Tide gets out to an early lead of 17-3 at half.Utah makes a move in the 3rd cutting it to 17-13 going to the 4th.Bama gets a Julio Jones TD and a FG from Tiffin to go out to a 27-13 lead.Utah scrambles for a TD but a late onside attempt fails and Bama holds off a very good Ute team 27-20.I believe Utah will prove to be at least the 2nd best team we will have played this season.RTR!!!

A playoff would be the best way to crown a true champion. Politics would still play a part however. Notre Dame and USC would get a first round bye of coarse.

They always do. That's one of the things that is most frustrating to me as a fan. Utah made it to the championship game in the NCAA tourney in 1998 even though they were only ranked about #10 that year. I think some of the best teams get shafted every year.

Personally, I'd like to see a 16 team tourney over four weeks. 8-10 auto qualifiers and 6-8 at large bids. Settle it like men, and just like they do in every other NCAA sport.
