This was an outstanding move by the Saints made even better for them by the fact that a division rival picked him up. The 2014 version of Roman Harper is not the same as Roman in his first several years in the NFL. He's a liability against the pass at this point in his career.

I agree, but the same could be said for Mike Shula's teams. Almost all of those games were close too, but did you ever really get the feeling that we were going to make the necessary plays late and win any of them? I know I didn't and that's exactly how I feel watching this basketball program...

That's what the B1G wants everyone to believe when in reality they have few cold weather games and almost no snow games.

Also, the Senior Bowl is not run by the NFL. They just have a lot of NFL personnel during the week of the game and it's on the NFL Network so it seems that way. It's actually run by a sports organization in Mobile and sponsored by Reese's.

It's not really done to make the game more competitive or the score close. It's done so that one team won't end up with five quarterbacks and the other team only one or so that one team doesn't have all of the wide receivers or defensive backs. They invite the best possible players at each...

I've been thinking the same thing about Villanova. Look at what Jay Wright has done with a roster that was pathetic against us at the beginning of last season.

The guys you list as legendary have finished their careers. The current coaches will amass more achievements in the coming years that will add to their resumes. Check back in 10-20 years and you will have a few out of the current crop of coaches.
