If I am not mistaken, Troy University has the same "Pro Turf". It is a lot softer on the feet than the old Astro-turf but still a long way from grass. Not as bad to tackle or be tackled on either.

I think our team was very well prepared for the unorthodox style that USC is using this year. Remember, one of USCs co-defensive coordinators was the DC for Southern Miss last year. We had very good luck on the ground in that game also.

7tech, I agree. It doesnt matter how good your running game is if you cant throw the ball enough to keep the defense honest. FSU will find out this year like we did last year that you cant win them all when the other team can stack 8 or more in the box and not have to worry about getting beat...
