    But do we want stability just for the sake of stability even if we have continued mediocrity. Shula is not going to change, but we'll give him another year and then reevaluate I guess. I don't have much faith in the administration to make a great hire at head coach anyway.

    We haven't improved as the season progressed since Shula has been there. Our offense always gets worse during the season, while our defense seems to get better. Kines is doing a heck of a job. Shula needs to wake up and put his pride on the shelf. Something must be done about the offensive...

    Big difference that pops out at me immediately though is that OU scored points in 1999 and has continued over the years. Average score was 36-19, and 36-18 in conference in 1999. They averaged over 30 points a game every year until their 8-4 season last year. They also averaged over 26 points...

    USC won't lose. I don't think Texas loses, even without V. Young. Unless they don't have him when they play USC. That said, the match up I'd like to see is a 11-1 Miami team vs a 12-0 Alabama team. Remember the Rose Bowl.....we'll win then. National Championship at the Rose Bowl......we need...

    IF there was no Crimson Tide who would your favorite team be?

    Probably Oklahoma recently I have come to like Florida State, only because they stood up to the NCAA on the indian name issue. OU would definitely be my favorite, if there was no Bama, with FSU second I suppose.

    Post-game incident - Shula and Nutt...

    What did Shula do exactly? I've read the little bit of it in the Mobile Register, but what's the big deal. Yeah, Nutt got a late TD.......maybe it got Shula mad, maybe not.....we probably will never know. We didn't stop them, so who cares.
