Kirby is doing no less than we would have expected him to do at Bama. We know he can recruit, and we know he can coach them up on defense. The questions to be answered are, can he run a program himself and will he win? If he doesn't win, he could become a top 10-15 program in recruiting...

The official barn handbook says no weed until AFTER you commit. Didn't they have a signee get busted in FL last year before he ever set foot on campus?

10 years from now they'll claim they won this year's Superbowl. They're probably out trying to find players from the 1903 and 1913 teams right now so they can give them a ring.

I think we'd still make a run at the NC. The biggest challenge would probably be LSU and SECCG. It would be OK. The backups could manage the game and have playmaking potential. I mean, it's not like the backup QB is Uncle Rico or anything.

Herbie gets it right more than most. I know his job is easier because he folows Corso after Corso is done spitting and slobbering all over the desk, but he convinced me when he picked the barn to win the SEC and they did. I'd of thought he had a better chance of hitting the lottery twice on...

That's the whole reason $cam stayed eligible and the barn kept their wins. The NZAA didn't want a non-AQ team playing Nike U for the NC, and TCU would've if the barn had received what they deserved.
