This was expected. This is how it is done for the basketball tournament. This is an NCAA sponsored event now. There is no BCS. They can't leave out representation from any Division 1 conference (they could leave out the WAC if they no longer have football).

I read an article recently that basicaly stated that the difference with Alabama is that they when they get 5 star players they stay 5 star players and when they get 3 star players they make them into 5 star players by the time they leave. This sounds like that type of situation.

What is sad for them is that they actually have a crystal football recently (as illegitimate as it may be) and they can't even enjoy it because we have bookended it with our dynasty. Even when they win they can't win.
